Reasons not to give up

Being an artist often means hearing no a lot... its more polite than that. It’s more like “although there was an abundance of excellent work submitted, we regret to inform you that your piece was not accepted to this show.”  

It’s always a bummer.  It’s always a little discouraging but I know that’s part of the game.  But there are a lot of reasons not to give up.  And none of them have to do with awards, or sales. The reasons run deep in every artist. Pouring yourself into any task, takes a certain amount of drive and creativity.
